An overall DS e-Solutions HR plan exists and has been updated for the 2012-2015 timeframe. The HR priorities during this time are to build an inclusive, accessible, and healthy workplace, strengthen skills and capacity, and create a more efficient organization. The organization has also created the DS e-Solutions Wellness Strategy which is currently focused on healthy living, safe and healthy workplace, and supportive workplace culture.
DS e-Solutions’ employees have many opportunities and methods to voice their opinions, issues, or concerns to management or other staff members. DS e-Solutions’ management regularly shares information, direction, and information on upcoming projects /initiatives with all employees. Management meets and communicates in a variety of ways, including:
- annual development and continuous improvement of the operational plans;
- individual development of performance plans and mid-term reviews;
- organization wide and unit meetings;
- one-on-one meetings with direct manager; and
- project status updates.
DS e-Solutions management is very responsive to any and all issues or concerns raised and staff members have a variety of methods and opportunities to seek assistance from management.
